Client Website
What and why?
This project came about very quickly. I found that my client was heading to a conference in a couple of days and needed a quick website that showcased her background and skills. We came up with a game plan, and she sent me content to add to the site.
What was learned
This was my first quickly designed site that needed to be responsive for easy viewing on a mobile or tablet. I learned a lot about spacing and figuring out ways to resort the imagery based on what the size of the device was going to be.
In designing the desktop version, I knew that I wanted the photo to be on the right-hand side.
The mobile version, I wanted the photo to appear first. With a little bit of experimentation, I managed to make this work. With CSS Grid, I believe that I can assign an order to elements in a page, so when I next have the opportunity to update this site, I plan to implement it.
